Get even better value for money

12/01/2023

The Caravan and Motorhome Club is offering even better value for money in 2023 and helping members get away for less, with an expanded UK campsite portfolio and several new developments and enhancing existing campsite facilities.

With over £12.5m planned for investment into campsite redevelopments this year the Club is offering members the best possible experience in the great outdoors with some great offers too.  There are no additional costs for children under five-years-old, dogs can go free and awnings are not charged. What’s more members and non-members can book with a low deposit from only £25*, with free cancellations or amendments up to 21 days before arrival. Club members can also save up to £15 and book ahead of non-members, all great ways to get away for less this spring.

The award-winning Dornafield Touring Park  is the latest addition to the Club’s UK campsite network. Located in the beautiful area of Newton Abbot, in South Devon, situated in a quiet valley and surrounded by beautiful countryside, the campsite is perfectly placed for exploring Torquay, Totnes, Newton Abbot and Dartmoor. Dornafield Touring Park has been an Affiliated Site with the Club since 1998 and will open on 10th March with prices starting from just £17.30 per night based on one adult and a standard pitch.

Rated five-star by Club members, the site boasts over 100 all-weather fully serviced pitches with facilities including shower room, laundry rooms, Wi-Fi access, a tourist Information room, electric vehicle charging points and more.

Other 2022 redevelopments include:

Lady Margaret’s Park Club Campsite, Wrexham

Standout changes include a new facilities block featuring accessible and inclusive bathroom facilities, 22 new serviced, four new premium pitches and two new electric vehicle (EV) charging points. Winchester Club Campsite, Winchester

More hardstanding pitches have been added including a selection of new premium pitches and designated ferry pitches, a new facilities block with an inclusive bathroom built and new EV charging points were some of the extensive transformations at this Hampshire campsite, which is now open all year. Located near Winchester City, the campsite is an ideal base for touring ancient buildings and a myriad of shops and restaurants to enjoy. Prices start from £21 per night based on one adult and a standard pitch.

Clumber Park Club Campsite, Worksop

The site reopened in summer 2022 after extensive redevelopment to include more hardstanding and premium pitches, a new facilities block and inclusive bathroom, new bike storage and bike, dog washes, a brand new play area and a new dedicated EV charging station. Pandy Club Campsite, Monmouthshire

Improvements to this campsite will include nine new serviced pitches, a refurbished facilities block and dog and bike wash for dog lovers and keen cyclists. The campsite is surrounded by nature on a level, luscious, green site on the western boundary of the River Honddu. Prices start from £21.40 per night based on one adult and a standard pitch.

Steamer Quay Club Campsite, Devon

A full redevelopment is planned for later this year with the conversion of grass economy pitches to non-awning serviced pitches, new motor van waste points, a new EV charging point and refurbished facilities block. Steamer Quay Club Campsite is a pleasantly quiet holiday getaway with serene pastoral views, just a short walk away from the bustling town of Totnes, for a wide choice of local shops, pubs and restaurants. Other partial development work is also due to take place at Durham Grange Club Campsite in County Durham where extra storage pitches will be added and at Coed-y-Llwyn, in Gwynedd with improvement works to serviced pitches and a new facilities block is being built.
