The Caravan and Motorhome Club launches new European and Worldwide Tours for 2024

The Caravan and Motorhome Club will launch its new European and Worldwide Tours* for 2024 at the Motorhome and Caravan Show at the NEC Birmingham from 17 October.

From three new Worldwide tours - two in South Africa and one in Canada - to dog friendly tours in the Loire Valley and a new ‘adventure’ tour in the Balkans (Bosnia and Montenegro) in the European programme - there is plenty of choice to excite and challenge members to experience something totally different next year.

European Tours 2024

There are 22 escorted European tours priced from £779* across 11 wonderful destinations with interests and themes ranging from concerts, cycling, culture, history, wines and landscapes. Tourers can plan their trip with their caravan, motorhome or campervan while being accompanied by experienced tour hosts and enjoy the company of like-minded tourers.

The Club is proud to announce five new fantastic tours taking place across Europe for 2024 including a new ‘adventure’ tour in the Balkans for the very first time.

Bosnia & Montenegro

The Balkan Adventure tour - this tour, led by adventure-tourer Marcus Leach, begins in Croatia and tourers will make their way through Montenegro and the Durmitor National Park, into Bosnia, visiting Mostar and Sarajevo. It aims to showcase the stunning landscapes and the fascinating history and culture of these areas with a fast-paced adventure packed tour. Prices start from £4,145*.

France

D-Day Commemoration Tour

This tour is an important event in the 2024 calendar, marking the 80th anniversary of D-Day. Starting off in the UK with four nights at the New Forest Centenary Club Campsite, the group will visit some significant WW2 sites this side of the channel. The group will then take the ferry across to Caen and spend five nights in Normandy, visiting the D-Day beaches and British and Commonwealth memorials. Prices start from £2,349*.

Paws on Tour

The dog-friendly, two-week, Paws on Tour will take in the Loire Valley at two campsites. The tour includes dog-friendly excursions to a châteaux and wineries, as well as great walks for dogs and their owners. The châteaux chosen for this tour all allow dogs in the grounds with some even allowing pets inside. All arranged transport accept pets on board as well. Prices start from £2,299*.

Solo Cycling in the Loire

This tour is exclusive for solo travellers and is based at the leafy and quiet camping Les Saules. It ensures tourers can take in the sights of the Loire by bicycle as well as make like-minded friends along the way, with whom they can share their favourite pastime.  Prices start from £1,169*.

Wines of Beaujolais

As the name suggests, this tour takes place in the region famous for its ‘Beaujolais Nouveau’.  It is designed to be an educational and immersive experience and tourers will be based at the aptly named ‘Grappe Fleurie’ campsite in the heart of this wine-growing area. Prices start from £3,399*.

Worldwide tours for 2024/2025

Tourers can choose from 32 unique caravan and motorhome touring holidays in 2024. Options include escorted, independent or tailor-made tours across Australia, Canada, New Zealand, Southern Africa and America with two new South Africa tours and a new tour in Canada. Tourers who book before 22 December 2023, will also save up to £500^ on selected Worldwide tour bookings.

New for 2024

South Africa

The Cape of Many Colours (Escorted tour) – this new tour allows guests to  discover Cape Town whilst enjoying a glass of wine on top of Table Mountain, enjoying a chocolate and wine experience in the Cape Winelands and searching for southern right and humpback whales on a cruise from Hermanus.   Tourers will get to drive the world-famous Garden Route, and experience the vibrant colours of the wildflowers in the Western Cape. Prices start from £5,149pp^^ (based on two sharing) including the membership offer or from £4,949 including the membership offer and the early booking discount^^^. 

Cape Town and the Garden Route (Independent Tour) - on this independent tour, Cape Town can be discovered on a hop-on-hop-off bus that takes tourers through charming fishing villages and to unspoilt beaches and then on a search for the Big five in Addo Elephant National Park. There will be the chance to drive the world-famous Garden Route, spot whales from Hermanus and take a hop-on-hop-off wine tour in Franschhoek. Prices start from £3,449pp^^ (based on two sharing) including the membership offer.

Canada

Around the Rugged Rockies (Independent Tour) – Canadian tours are always incredibly popular and this tour offers the opportunity to discover Calgary, home to the world-renowned Calgary Stampede. In contrast to the city will be 4,000 square kilometres of mountain parks of Kananskis to discover, plus the stunning glaciers, blue lakes and snow-covered peaks of the Rockies. Tourers can also drive the iconic Icefield Parkway and spot the local residents of Banff on an evening wildlife tour. Prices start from £4,349pp^^ (based on two sharing) including the membership offer.

Club members can save £100 per booking on worldwide holidays.^^^^

Members of the Caravan and Motorhome Club can also benefit from Red Pennant emergency assistance to keep them protected when travelling across Europe. This travel insurance has been specifically designed for touring holidays and includes options of motoring or personal insurance for single-trip or annual multi-trip cover. Cover options include European breakdown roadside assistance, vehicle and passenger repatriation, continuation of holiday travel, medical emergency and ski cover.
