Lochside Caravan Club Site, Forfar
The Club is pleased to announce the opening of Lochside Caravan
Club Site.
The five acre site is situated close to the shore of Forfar
Loch, within the Lochside Country Park, which is between Perth and
Aberdeen in the east of Scotland. It will bring an additional
72 pitches to the network. It's positioning makes it a fantastic
site for those who like active breaks, being close to a sports and
wildlife centre as well as a children's playground.
A short drive will take you to the Angus coast, where the varied
coastline's sandy beaches are punctuated with dramatic cliffs. The
Angus Glens offer plenty of walks and cycle routes with spectacular
views across the landscape.
The nearby historic town was founded during the reign of King
David I and has plenty of local amenities including supermarkets,
restaurants and a fortnightly farmer's market.
The four star site has first class toilet and shower facilities,
baby bath, fully equipped laundry room and fully caters for the
needs of disabled visitors. The Club intends to make further
developments with plans to increase the number of hardstandings and
enhance site security, amongst other things.
Lochside Caravan Club Site will open to members and non-members
on 30 April 2010 and will be available to book
from 2 March. Bookings can be made online or by calling the Club on
01342 327 490.
