People are likely to see their great days out in London improved due to the 2012 Olympic Games, an expert has claimed.
Jacqueline French, spokesperson for Visit London, said that the sporting event is the perfect time for the city to showcase what it has to offer.
"From a leisure point of view London, is in a great position because people can actually already go to a lot of the venues that will be used in 2012," she explained.
Ms French emphasised that it is therefore not only after the Games but also in the lead up to them that visitors will be able to make the most of London's improved infrastructure.
The number of visitors to London's attractions in June 2010 saw the highest percentage growth since September 2009, the Visit London Attraction Monitor shows.
It revealed an increase of 6.3 per cent compared to the same period in 2009.
