Buying cars online grows in popularity

There has been a rise in the number of people choosing to buy their next vehicle online, one website has noticed.
Autoquake found that people are so confident in internet sales, that 35 per cent of motorists will place an order without having seen the car first.
Founder of the site Fredrik Skantze said: "It shows the confidence that consumers now have with buying goods online. Buying a car online now, for many, feels like a very natural process."
On average, a car bought online will cost £7,500, although those who make a purchase are protected by a seven-day money back guarantee.
Anyone buying a new vehicle has recently been reminded by the Institute of Advanced Motorists that they must have car insurance in place.
It suggested that people might want to consider storing their car in a garage rather than on the street to secure lower premiums.
