Caravanners can take in arts, crafts and natural beauty in Cumbria
Caravanners with an interest in arts and crafts may wish to take in a special event in Cumbria this summer.
The completely free Prom Art season will include crafts and public art hangings, featuring all different kinds of creative pieces to interest those with an artistic nature.
Prom Art is based in the town of Grange-over-Sands on the Morecambe Bay Coast, and a 600-metre stretch of the resort's Edwardian promenade will house stalls displaying and selling paintings.
Over 120 artists - professional and amateurs alike will be displaying their works to the public and many will be willing to take special commissions to mark the memorable trip.
Of course the area is also very popular with walkers and nature lovers will find designated areas of outstanding natural beauty up and down the local coastline.
The next Prom Art events are on Sunday August 29th and Sunday September 26th.
