Families in search of a great day out over Easter might want to think about a trip to Winchester, which has a fun-packed schedule of events.
The historic city will have something to suit everybody, from a trail following the life of Jane Austen to the Winchester Bunny Hop Easter Trail.
Between April 2nd and 18th, Marvell Wildlife will be opening its doors to visitors, who will be given the chance to make a nest and find out more about animal eggs.
Over Easter weekend, the attraction will be holding an egg hunt, where children can meet the Easter bunny and claim their free chocolate egg.
Craft fanatics, meanwhile, might want to head over to the Winchester Discovery Centre, where a variety of activities such as medieval gargoyle making shall be taking place.
Visit Winchester advises people to take a guided tour of the city to discover its historical background from those who know it best - the locals.
