Caravanners hoping to give their mums a treat this year should consider a trip to the Isles of Scilly, it has been suggested.
The locations are perfect for a great day out or can be combined with a caravan holiday in mainland England to really make the most of the destination.
According to the area's tourist board, it is the safest destination in Britain and was recently voted one of the must-see places in the world by Frommer's International Travel Guide.
The islands lie 28 miles off the tip of Lands End and benefit from a relaxed way of life and stunning scenery, which people can enjoy by going on a walk or guided tour.
There are also a number of top beaches, the tourist board said, which would be perfect to lie back and relax on this Mother's Day.
The Isles of Scilly are made up of five islands, which boast their own unique attractions, including castles, cuisine and unusual flora.
