Explore England on National Trails

One of the best ways to get to know an area while on caravan
holidays in England is to follow National Trails, an expert has
suggested.
Lyndon Marquis, a Natural England spokesperson, pointed out that
there are 13 different trails across the country, each offering
circular and linear day routes.
"If you're new to trail-walking, we think you'll find that these
three provide a gentle introduction: Peddars Way and North Norfolk
Coast Path, Yorkshire Wolds Way and Thames Path," he
continued.
Peddars Way and North Norfolk Coast Path, for example, travels
through flint villages, quiet streams and some stunning coastal
scenery.
One of the major benefits of these routes is that they offer
access to some of England's finest landscapes, allowing walkers to
visit places of interest and villages along the way.
They are all well maintained and provide markers with information
on the surrounding area, noted Mr Marquis.
