A Peacefully site

5 out of 5

We enjoyed our stay at this site especially our pitch was close to the wooded area and the dawn chorus every day was lovely we heard Golden Orioles and saw two Hoopoes as well as the more common varieties like Magpies Wrens Blackbirds. The swimming pool was the best one we had of our whole trip. A very nice site, the staff were helpful and looked after us very well.

French Life

4 out of 5

My wife and I disagreed about this site. I loved it. This is a good site to experience French life. The staff speak English but the younger staff were happy to put up with my bad French which improved over the two weeks we spent there thanks to their patience. There is lovely walks in the areas around the river with danger warnings. The river is definitely a no go area for recreation. The site is well placed for visits into the mountains but families that we spoke to felt that there was not enough in the for the teenagers. The bar and outdoor restaurant were pleasant as was the outdoor cinema.

Nice site

4 out of 5

This is a very pleasant campsite, well kept with a nice pool area. There is a bar and restaurant serving adequate meals and snacks. The toilet facilities were well kept and the pitch we were allocated (booking through the club) was v spacious with its own water connection. The site doesn't have a shop but 2 min drive away is a supermarket (with cheap petrol!). My only negative remark would be that that there didn't appear to be a lot to do in the vicinity which would put me off a longer stay.
