A Superb CL - 5 Stars

Rookery Farm

This is our third visit in12 months. Lovely owners Catherine and Peter keep their site in immaculate condition. The grass pitches are large, well spaced out, flat and very well maintained. Location is great and away from any road noise and easy access to Southwold, Dunwich, Aldeburgh and much more. This is the place for anyone looking for a peaceful break on a great CL.

Thank you Carolyn and Alan.

A perfect CL.

Rookery Farm
This is a stunning CL. A lot of the positives points have already been outlined by other reviews. The CL has capacity for 6 pitches and the 5 pitches are allocated so that the grass gets chance to recover. Would bring a hose splitter because you might be sharing a tap with another unit. Basically it’s a fully serviced pitch at a very reasonable price. You’re allowed to pipe grey water into hedge. Set up parallel with the hedge, then you’ll get sun all day on your awning/nearside. Entrance to approach lane is a bit on the tight side. You’re turning off a village road so traffic volume is practically nil and you can take your time and get a good wide swing at it. Everything is immaculate, flat pitch, pitch black at night, spotless toilet, no road noise and dog walk just out of gate at side of CL. There is a train track just outside village, slow local branch line and hardly noticed the few trains that passed. The pub, a couple of minutes walk away is run by the villagers. Good choice of beers and food was amazing especially Sunday Lunch. Wished I was still there.

Great site

Rookery Farm
This is a high quality CL site. My wife and I spent a lovely week here at the end of July 2024. We were fortunate with the weather being wonderful. Peter runs a tip top site and was very kind and helpful. We were very happy with our stay, and would have no reservations about returning in the future.
