So expect heavy machinery just a few The access to canal via public footpath is now not available. The only way is to walk along the roadway, but this is a bit dicey especially if you have a dog. The construction of a new motorway has ruined the view northwards from the canal. And construction noise can be heard every day. Also a farmhouse is being constructed very close to the site so expect a less than tranquil visit. There is no information or laundry room on this site.
