Scenic and peaceful

We spent a week at Port Logan Campsite in mid-May 2023. The first thing to mention is the view, it's wonderful! The site is located on a small cliff and overlooks the bay and out into the Irish Sea where the lights of Belfast can be seen at night. Port Logan is utterly unspoiled and we pretty much had the long sandy beach to ourselves most of the time, much to the delight of our Labrador, Fudge. The site is sloping and you may need blocks for your front corner steadies, Pam and Adrian were super-friendly and kindly lent us some for the duration of our stay. Due to the peaceful nature of the area, the local wildlife are thriving and abundant with 2 deer seeming to live just at the end of the road. All in all a great CL and we intend to return.
