Newly re-opened after a couple of years, this 5 pitch caravan site is tucked away in a sunny and sheltered spot. Approached by a lockable, gated gravel drive, each pitch is separated by low hedging and consists of a hardstanding with grassed area for awnings. Cars can be parked in front of your pitch. Levelling blocks are needed as pitches are slightly sloping. Mature shrubs look beautiful and birdsong is all around. The village church clock can be heard chiming on the hour. A small lake is close by and the resident, very quacky ducks wander around the site and grounds. There is keypad access to a two roomed shower and toilet block which is seperate to the caravan site. It’s a family and dog friendly, quiet site with lovely walks in the gardens. The Hall has a restaurant and bar open to hotel non residents. Reception check in and out is friendly and quick as you pay in full on booking. Unusually, there is a different tariff for weekdays (£25) and weekends (£30) but well worth it for the location, peace and tranquility of this beautiful site. There is no signage for the CL after entering onto The Avenue and it’s one way in the grounds. Follow the signs for way out, the road bends to the right just before the Hall. The CL entrance is then about 50 yards to your left. Pull into the small parking area then check in at the Hall’s reception.
