I stayed here last autumn and was looking forward to returning. I arrived last week in the extraordinary heat we were having and parked my caravan in a lovely shaded spot. The site is so peaceful and well maintained. Staff and site shop are both very helpful and convenient. The lake is only a 5 minute walk away and there is the most beautiful and quiet cove/beach area from which to picnic, swim or enjoy water sports. You can also walk around the lake or to Keswick from the site. Other walks from the site include the famous Cat Bells.
