We Loved It!
Normally we would avoid shaded campsites but due to its perfect looking location we decided to give Borrowdale a try. We absolutely loved it and had the most fabulous week surrounded by the beautiful woodland. Unfortunately we weren’t lucky enough to spy any red squirrels, but will hold out for when we visit again. Thanks go out to the wardens who running the campsite for being so welcoming and friendly and doing a great job keeping everything neat and tidy.
