An ideal site for a short stay

We spent three nights here and enjoyed the peace and quiet the site offers while also being on a direct bus route to Bourton on the Water and Cheltenham. The site has well spaced pitches but could do with more privacy hedges. There is also a well maintained dog walk with plenty of bark clippings to absorb any mud. The walk then leads to a field edge path which the site has permission to use. It was good to be able to talk to the site wardens when we arrived as well as using the fast check-in service which certainly worked well. The very friendly and efficient site wardens quickly provided our friends who were parking on grass with under wheel mats as there was a lot of rain around. It is disappointing that the site has no toilet facilities which seems surprising when composting toilets are available on other sites. The site also has a very useful information hut with lots of information on the railway history of the area together with local walks and bus timetables. We hadn’t taken our tv as the site info said tv reception was poor. On arrival we found that there were tv aerial sockets on the EHU bollards.
