Serviced pitches very sloping DESPITE assurances otherwise!

We booked a service pitch for 3 nights and - concerned our auto-level system and 8m twin axle would struggle with sloping pitches after reading another review - we rang the warden who reassured us the problem was now ‘all sorted’ and we would have no issue. On arrival the wardens assured me again we’d have ‘absolutely no issue here’ when levelling. We drove to our pitch to see immediately that the pitch WAS sloping (side to side AND front to back). As feared our system could not cope with the side-to-side slope and we had to borrow blocks from the warden to put under the rams; the wheels on one side ended up ‘floating’ about 3 inches off the ground! EVERY unit on the service pitches was having to use extra levelling systems - it was not only our pitch - so so why were we told TWICE we’d have no issue? Not impressed with the service at the Bryn Arms on Saturday evening; we waited over an hour for food and when it came, one meal was incorrect. The waitress removed this wrong meal leaving my husband with his. We had the choice - eat separately, or one of us got a cold meal. We opted for the former. The waitress said she’d ‘see what she could do’ regarding the bill - this proved to be absolutely nothing at all, we were charged full price and got an excuse that they were ‘busier than expected’ - but only 2/3 of tables were being used, and it WAS a Bank Holiday weekend! Other than this - facilities on site were clean, and we very much appreciated the ‘half and half’ method for cleaning the blocks, enabling loos to be available 24 hours a day. Also liked the addition of a dog/bike wash. Wardens were friendly (if inaccurate in their advice). Loads to do from the site but better signage would help re congestion on arrival (such as book in BEFORE using facilities!) and those using service pitches should be advised to bring levelling blocks. Do NOT try to drive to the walk to Tomen Y Mur (the Roman fort about 1.4 miles from site) as the carpark closed 6 years ago and there is nowhere to easily turn around!
