Unfortunately our stay at this site was cut short due to a family emergency. The reception staff were very friendly and welcoming although I was a bit confused about finding my own 'empty' pitch rather than being allocated one. But it worked. The motorhome pitches are large with plenty of room either side of the van, plenty of space to spread out tables & chairs etc. We used the No27 bus to get into town, a relatively pleasant experience. But be aware - they don't give change if you pay cash. We would advise downloading one of the Edinburgh taxi apps if you are there during the fringe or tattoo. You can pre-book you cab & get picked up. All in all a great site, we will be back.
