We have our caravan stored at Strathclyde Park which makes it an ideal site for getting our van ready for the new season and making sure everything still works after the winter. The site is well laid out and very flat. We have never had any issues with levelling on the pitches. There are a mixture of services and unserviced pitches and all are reasonably close to the toilet/shower blocks. The facilities are always clean and up to date. There is plenty to do in Strathclyde Park, it is excellent for walking and cycling with a loop around the loch. M&Ds Theme Park is good for the kids and there are one or two places to eat including the Toby Carvery and Alona Hotel. There are also some good restaurants in Hamilton, Bellshill and Motherwell, which are all close to the site. Strathclyde Park is very handy for getting into Glasgow, you can drive into the city centre within 20 minutes. There are also buses and trains into the town from Motherwell, Bellshill and Hamilton.
