Disappointing, would not recommend.

Masions lafittee is operated by Sandaya who advertise this as four star site but I would doubt this has been reviewed in recent times. Masions Lafitte failed to deliver on the expectations as presented on their web site. When we stayed (June 2018) there was a lot of building work on site (new Aqua Park) which made access to the toilet block difficult. We had to circumnavigate building materials that blocked the access to the toilet block. The toilet block itself was very good being new and clean and recently opened, after refurbishment, plenty of hot water and cleaned twice a day. Our pitch was very poor, uneven, and potholed. When we request to move to another pitch we were offered the next site along but the grass was long and had not been cut for some time with a tree growing in the center of the pitch. As an alternative they offered, at a premium, a site overlooking the river but the river view was obscured by trees and dense foliage. Be aware that I could only find 5 available pitches that had a clear unobstructed view of the river. This site has a lot of residential holiday cabins which were very noisy and some quite raucous during the weekends. I would not like to be on site during the peak season. I expect that this will eventually be turned into a holiday camp style facility similar to the others within the Sandaya chain. Positives easily walk into Masions Lafitte which is a delightful friendly French town with an excellent tourist information office and supermarket (Casino). The train station gives easy access to Paris bringing you into the Champs - Elysees but use the RER network. Be aware that the access to the site is through residential areas which are narrow. Care should be taken as the residents tend to whizz about these streets and around corners. The street parking is marked for the residents to park their cars alternately on each side of the road to allow vehicle access along the street. I required to exit the site to access the N184 and then A16 to the west towards Abbyville. The route I used was to exit the site and stay on the Rue Johnson towards the traffic lights (the top half of this road is one way). Turn left onto D157 Avenue de Sant-Germain. Stay on the D157 until you enter Le Mesnil –le Roy. At the traffic lights with shops on the left and a large vetnary center on your right. Turn right into a one way system with a wide road. Follow this road which will bring you on to the D308 which joins onto the N184 in about two miles.
