We stayed here for one night in April 2022, a last minute extension to our short break in Somerset, with our 4 year old and 7 year old.
The postcode took us straight to the farm; the last half mile track is very rough and only wide enough for one vehicle, but ok if you take it steady and don't meet another vehicle! We didn't see the owners during our brief stay.
On reaching the farm, it wasn't immediately obvious where to go, but a quick recce on foot revealed the site was just a short distance over a somewhat narrow concrete bridge across a stream - navigated with care in our van conversion. The grassy field beyond is dotted with fruit trees and has plenty of space to choose a pitch, only gently sloping in places. We didn't need to use the waste disposal point so cannot comment on that, but found it and the water tap in the centre of the field without problem. An open stream runs along the edge of the field, so young children may need to be watched..
A handful of steam trains gently passed along the edge of the site in the daytime during our stay. A level, well kept footpath accessible easily from the site follows the railway line to the town of Watchet, where we found plenty of choice of eateries, and two stony beaches to explore.
This is a lovely base for Watchet, and I'm sure we'll be back,
