Where can I find the CC WiFi charges.

Is it just me or is it a very difficult website to navigate to find anything ?

I've stopped using the WiFi on CC sites as it is generally inferior to the signal I get on my mobile phone which I can use for accessing the Internet etc (or pair to my iPad or laptop) OK, I know that having sufficient data allowance is necessary if you go down this route but for me it is worth it. If the mobile signal is poor or non existent generally the CC WiFi is too. With 5G being rolled out next year phone internet speeds will increase. OK many sites will be outside 5G coverage but this is something that hopefully will be addressed by the government, but don't hold your breath! Not sure the CC club should be spending vast sums on providing WiFi if technology will move quickly to make their installations out of date.

At Ferry Meadows the phone signal was non existent on Three so had to use the club WiFi which was OK but accept in rural areas the broadband speed to site may be slow.  Also a lot of sites are in rural areas so mobile coverage will not be good either and cost prohibitive for all operators to put up a mast for say 100 users.  What needs to be done is the roaming option so your phone picks up the best signal from what ever operator like you get abroad.

One problem with free WiFi is that people use it to watch films etc. so the service suffers considerably. By charging you make people more selective and this results in a faster speed for all users.

camping and caravan club don't charge for Wfi.

They give you the code on arrival and that's it every time you visit that site.

Same on the private York caravan park get the code no problem.

I have tried angel very poor on some sites cannot use two devices together, whats that about not good will never pay again.

One from the past. I can never find anything when I search on CT.😉

That's the advantage norm. If you don't think it worth it you don't have to subscribe. The cost of so called free WiFi has to be covered somewhere, so everyone pays wether they want it or not. Works for me.

I subscribe, by the way, and think it good value. Just to put another point of view.😀

Oh, you can use it without charge for posting on CT. Even two devices at the same time.😂

Some C&CC sites certainly charge. See this LINK to WiFi on their web site,

The Camping Club DO charge for wifi, any that don't is unusual in my experience.

I've tried both clubs wifi and choose to stick to smart phone and mobile data now as we have plenty to use up..

I think that's where some confusion comes in due to franchised C&CC sites. The one we used at Bellingham last year offered free wi-fi. So check out the list on the link.
