How many years have you worked in the travel industry? 

Working in the travel industry is a new adventure for Karen after many years working in the computer services industry. She is really looking forward to her new and exciting journey, looking after your holiday from when you book until you travel.

Where are your favourite destinations? 

I have enjoyed visiting many European Cities and destinations, Italy being one of my favourites. I have a friend who lives in Barbados so it was amazing to visit and see the Island as a local.

What’s your dream destination?

I would love to visit Hawaii and the Canadian Rockies!!

How many years have you worked in the travel industry? 

I have been working in the travel industry on and off since 2009.

Where are your favourite destinations? 

I would say that Iceland has been the most visually stunning and interesting place I have travelled to so far. Unfortunately, we were not able to see the Aurora Borealis however we did have a spectacular view of the Milky Way Galaxy!

The South East Asia region is a very happy memory for me as I travelled around Thailand, Laos and Cambodia for 3 months, taking in as many cultural and historical sites as I could.

Australia would also be up there as I did two separate years on a working holiday visa. This included travelling up and down the East Coast, working on a banana farm for six months and spending a year in Melbourne.

What’s your dream destination?

High on my bucket list would be a tour around Costa Rica.

How long have you worked in the travel industry? 

I’ve worked in travel for just over eight years. I love hearing about my customer's adventures and helping them with all their travel plans.

Where is your favourite place to travel? 

I have been lucky enough to travel throughout New Zealand, Canada and the USA in a motorhome. All of these destinations are incredible in different ways; New Zealand for the jaw-dropping landscapes around every corner, Canada for the abundance in wildlife and the USA for the iconic landmarks.

It’s very difficult to pick a favourite, but the bright blue lakes and pristine mountains in Western Canada would have to win my heart!

What’s your dream destination?

My absolute dream destination to visit would be Alaska. I’d love to see Denali National Park and take a trip on the Alaska Railroad coastal route down to Seward.

How long have you worked in the travel industry?

I’ve spent just over 30 years in the travel industry, specialising in Australia, New Zealand, Southern Africa, the USA and Canada.

Where is your favourite place to travel?

Since being with the Club I have been to New Zealand and have just returned from doing the Tale of Three Countries tour which includes Namibia, Botswana and Zambia. 

I used to live and work in Australia and have travelled extensively throughout the country, I have also travelled in New Zealand, Southern Africa, Canada and the USA. 

My favourite places to visit are the Sunshine Coast in Canada and Victoria Falls in Zambia.

What’s your bucket list destination?

My bucket list holiday is to go island hopping around the South Pacific and seeing the gorillas in Uganda or Rwanda.

How long have you worked in the travel industry?

I’ve worked in the travel industry for 19 years helping people enjoy fantastic destinations and discover remarkable places around the world.

What are your specialist destinations?

My specialist destinations are Southern Africa, USA and New Zealand.

My career has consistently covered these three destinations and I’ve also travelled around them on my own personal holidays. 

My favourite places to travel are New Zealand - for the amazing diversity of the country, which changes within a few hours’ drive and is so easy to travel around - and any one of Africa’s amazing National Parks.

What’s your bucket list destination?

There are so many places that I could list, but the top 2 at the moment are the temples of Angkor Wat in Cambodia and seeing the Ashes in Australia (with England hopefully winning!)

How long have you worked in the travel industry? 

I’ve had the pleasure of working within this diverse and interesting industry since 2001. I love using my travelling experiences to help others plan and have the holiday of a lifetime.

Where is your favourite place to travel? 

After spending a year working and travelling around New Zealand, it has to be one of my all-time favourites.

Additionally, for its stunning scenery and friendliness: Canada. For its beautiful coastline and wildlife: South Africa. Last, but not least, after having worked there I have to include Australia for its unique rawness of landscape and diversity between what each state and territory offers.

What's your dream destination?

I also have a fondness for Latin America and would be equally excited if I was heading to Chile for the scenery or to be close to the wildlife in the Galapagos Islands.

Gemma

How long have you worked in the travel industry? 

9 years and counting.

Where is your favourite place to travel? 

I love travelling to the USA. I’ve been lucky enough to visit 22 states so far and my favourite places were San Francisco for the amazing seafood and architecture, Yosemite for the most amazing scenery and Florida – for the theme parks!

Outside of the USA my favourite places are Dubai for the melting pot of cultures and the guaranteed weather and Thailand for the wonderful food and some of the friendliest people I’ve met.

What's your dream destination?

This is a tough one as my list is long, but my top 2 choices would be travelling around New Zealand or an Alaskan cruise.
