Always loved the Moody Blues 

and Ray Thomas was a founding member of the group.

a bigger band than just the Nights in white satin.

Whilst working in Sydney in the early 80s, the Moodies were on at the newly built Entertainment Centre, we toddled along not being major fans but were blown away by the concert, one memory remains strong of Ray Thomas playing the flute solo in a fog of stage smoke, pausing to do a stage cough, RIP Ray
