Very good weather

We really liked this site and the area, perhaps in part because we had very good weather. The CL is south facing catching all the sun and has panoramic views over the coast and hills. We stayed 4 nights giving us 3 complete days. In addition to chilling out on site, on day 1 in the morning we walked along the back road to Harlech for coffee and to see the Castle returning along the beach and the Wales Coastal Path which passes the site. In the afternoon we continued on the Wales Coastal Path to the beach at Llandanwg and an ice cream. Day 2 we walked on back routes to the nearby disused slate mine for coffee, Llanbedr for lunch (where there are 2 x pubs, a small café and a small shop) and back along the Wales Coast Path to LLandanwg following the Afon (River) Glaslyn. On day 3 we caught the Lloyds G23 bus to Porthmadog (36 mins there - 30 mins back - £1.75 each way) from the bus stop above the site. Porthmadog is where the main shops and supermarkets are and is the start of the Ffestiniog and Welsh Highlands narrow gauge railways. From Porthmadog we walked a short distance along the Wales Coastal Path to Borth-y-Gest and back which was scenic. The G23 passes through Porthmadog to the entrance of Portmeirion at Minffordd and then back to Harlech, the site and on to Barmouth. If you are only visiting Porthmadog, its important to get off in the High Street opposite Tesco or The Australian pub by Porthmadog Parc as before you know it you will be heading to Portmeirion and back to the site! The arrival and return bus stop is on the same side of the road. When we left the site, we drove through Barmouth which is also worthy of a visit. The area is well served with the coastal RW which we didn’t have time to use.

Amazing site - definitely recommend

We have stayed for 8 nights on this beautiful site. Very spacious and extremely well kept. Own taps to each caravan a real bonus too. Bryn the owner was very helpful when we had problems with our car. Some lovely walks from the site and lots more to do only a short drive away. We would definitely recommend this site. Great stay

We had a lovely 6 night stay at Allt Y Mor (2 adults, 2 children and dog). The pitches are fully serviced, grassy, well spaced out with great views all around. The site was tidy, the wildflower garden and aesthetic stone walls made the site feel peaceful and we wished we could have stayed longer. We met Bryn during our stay and he couldn't have been more helpful. He did say that next season he was looking to have in ground drains which would be much easier, however it wasn't too much of a problem for us as it was. The slate caverns was a great rainy day activity and the site is a 2 minute drive into Harlech. Local beaches were fantastic and not overcrowded. We discovered using a mobile phone on a hotspot near our roof gave the best signal. We would definitely book again when we next visit North Wales.

CHARMING SITE

This is a fabulous site with great views of the landscape. It was very quiet and peaceful. Lovely walk down to the village. Stopped at the café for refreshments. Local beaches are both sandy. This is such a lovely location. Enjoyed our stay. Unfortunately we only met Bryn when we were leaving to go home. It lacked local amenities information, i.e doctors, vets, etc. I would highly recommend this site.

Picture perfect

a great example of a CL - keep it simple but still carefully designed, with gorgeous stone walls and natural landscape, carefully screened from neighbouring residents as well as prevailing winds, but delicious views to the south. Oh and pop a picnic bench on the top with stunning views of sunsets over the Llyn peninsula. Only downside (for us in a Moho) was no nearby shop or pub - so buy provisions before or stop or book a tesco delivery. A great 4 night stay at the end of July - thoroughly recommended đź‘Ť

Fabulous

What a great find. A peaceful and tranquil site with lots of space and fabulous views. Felt like you were away from it all but with lots of access to get to different places, especially Harlech and its glorious beach. Bryn and Lizzie are most helpful from booking to arriving nothing was too much trouble. We won’t hesitate to book again when we’re in the area. Good luck guys with your new venture

Perfect

What a gem of a CL, so lucky to have found this. Large pitches each with fresh water, EHU and grey waste, all with uninterrupted sea views. The adjoining field has a picnic table with an amazing view of Harlech beach and Llyn Peninsula, great place for watching the sunset. Public transport is very close to the site, with an hourly bus and two hourly train. We used them both and they are very dog friendly. It is on the Welsh coastal path so enjoyed some lovely walks in both directions, and also great for bike rides along the coast and up into the mountains. This is a new site and the owners deserve every success, they answer initial enquiries very quickly and although they are not based on site they are easily contactable, knowledgeable and super friendly. We spent 8 nights here and looking forward to returning. Highly recommended.

Great place to stay

This site has the best location you could wish for. Peace And tranquility. Ease of access to rail and bus network. The site is level and EHU and fresh and waste water drain on pitch. The owners have put in a lot of thought into its planning and location of pitches. Nearby picnic area is the place to be to watch the setting sun. Beaches, towns and mountains all add to the charm of Allt y Mor. Owners Lizzie and Bryn are so helpful and replied quickly to correspondence. Really enjoyed the chat with Bryn and his knowledge of the areas landscape. We appreciate the hard work that went into the site for the enjoyment of others.. will definitely be back. Highly recommended.

Beautiful, accessible well equipped site.

Beautiful site. Large level pitches with utilities. Ideally situated for visiting local Harlech town or using public transport to explore the coast. Lovely walk to 2 beaches where you can fish in rock pools or walk miles of golden sand. We just sat with a bottle amazed at the spectacular sunsets.

AMAZING SITE, FABULOUS LOCATION, SEA VIEWS, HELPFUL OWNERS

What a peaceful location, with sea views, walking distance to a tranquil, lovely beach ....yet close to pretty villages, and towns. There are so many walks from site, and transport links are superb. The site is quiet both during the daytime and at night. Recently installed electric hook-ups have made the site even better. This has to rate as one of the best CL's that we have been fortunate enough to stay on.
