Super organised site, very welcoming owners

A lovely site in touching distance of great destinations. Super walking straight out of the gate. We organised a last minute visit to test our new to us tow car. Mr & Mrs Green couldn't have been more accommodating and we'll definitely be back, with more organisation on our part, to stretch our legs further on the walks (we did an impromptu 5 miles today and our dogs loved it - open moorland, canals and heritage - fab).

Short break

What a gem of a CL, stunning view, lovely little town. A nice welcome from Stacey and her son. Having a fully serviced pitch on a CL was fantastic. The site is well placed for exploring. We ate in the Summit inn, Todmorden road, just 2 miles from the site, the food was lovely, especially the chicken curry and chips. We will definitely visit again.

Great base for local area.

Thank you Wayne & Stacey for making our 10 day stay at your fully serviced site. Great views from all 5 pitches. Some road noise from the A58 but did not bother us. Ideal base for visiting the local area with plenty to do. We will visit again. All the best John & Helen pitch no 4.

Perfect 3 week stay once again

Stayed here once again for 23 days. One of the best CL's you could want to stay on. Large pitches with water and emptying on each very large pitches. Once again thank you Stacey and Wayne for a great stay. Oh and thank you for my birthday balloon.

A little gem!

Lovely CL - fantastic views - we loved watching the newborn lambs metres from the caravan window! Hardstanding, fully serviced pitches. Friendly owners who went out of their way to make our stay as easy as possible. Easy access to loads of fantastic local walks, and a great dinner at the pub 300m away! A perfect weekend!

Absolute Cracker

What a fantastic site, huge level hard standing pitches which were fully serviced with EHU, water supply and grey waste disposal. This was our first visit to this area, there are endless walking trails and great cycling, panoramic views from the site, and the added bonus of a pub within 5 minutes walk. The Pennine Way is literally on the doorstep, and the Rochdale Canal is a short walk within a mile from the site. Local village of Littleborough has numerous small shops and pubs. We can recommend Indian takeaway, The Bay of Bengal who even delivered our fabulous meal to the site. Lovely friendly owners Wayne and Stacey. We will be back. Thanks for a lovely stay.

A great three week stay!

We spent 3 weeks here, visiting friends in the local area and also seeing the sights. The CL site has level serviced pitches, each with EHU, water and drainage, which we really like for an easy life. The views looking over the valley are lovely, sheep were friendly, and shrubs have been planted which, when fully grown, will screen the work areas behind the site. Despite being nearish to the road, there was little road noise and this was mainly during daytime, so nights were not disturbed. We visited both close to home and further away, but best days out were Victoria Baths and Lowry in Manchester, Saltaire (and Hockney Exhibition), Malham Cove, Ellenroad Steam Museum, Bramall Hall, Shibden Hall, dinner on the East Lancashire Railway and a trip on a canal boat at the Standedge Tunnel. Good places to eat are The Moorcock Inn, The Bulls Head at Ogden and our favourite, The Rake Tapas restaurant where portions are HUGE (4-5 between 2 is plenty!!) and the atmosphere and staff were wonderful. Excellent stay, thank you Stacey!

Wonderful CL site

This excellent modern CL site has amazing views and facilities. Each pitch has EHU, water and waste drain. Easy to find if following their instructions. Within easy reach of several beautiful walks. Just a 10 min walk to a great pub with really good food and service. This is our second visit this year and we will definitely be back.

Amazing view

I have recently stayed 5 nights on this lovely small, compact site. Towing in was straight forward - follow the given directions from the site. The owners are a delightful family who were friendly, very kind and helpful but not intrusive. It is situated off an A road so there is some road noise but diurnal. They are working hard to improve the site, it is all hard standing on a slope but pitches are level. Thought has gone into helping you pitch by giving access to a field for turning. Each pitch has a water tap , EHU and waste water drain. There are recycling facilities. There is access to acres of moorland within a few meters walk for dog walking or accessing the moor. The outstanding feature is the view over the Pennine way. Within a mile of easy walking you are at a pub and directly onto the Pennine Way, Stanza Stone Stone Trail and many more walks. Just up the road a very short distance is another pub, great food and service. I would definitely return to this gem of a site well situated for walking, sight seeing.
