We had a great fortnight here, very wet when we arrived for a couple of days so crossing the farm track was a challenge, but it dried eventually. We parked at the top of the field so blocks needed but there are pitches at the bottom which are flatter.
Busy working farm but the owners always available for a chat.
Only two things we didn't like. The Elsan disposal is simply not deep enough, so 'evidence' always on view. Secondly the mobile signal was poor so wi-fi data often unobtainable, not the fault of the owners of course.
Plenty of delightful towns and villages within a 25 mile radius, and the gardens of Sherborne 'new' castle are a must-see.
