Lovely peaceful site close to Chesterfield and many NT attractions and of course the Dales. Only downside was that the toilets (of which there are two) did not appear to have been cleaned for sometime, and were certainly not adequately done during the eight nights that we stayed, although the toilet roll was renewed; consequently there were spiders webs and spiders over the walls and soil and leaves on the floor. Given that there were only two toilets, I do not think it would take much to sweep / clean them a couple of times a week. The Tourist Information Kiosk could do with a similar sweep and clean as the books a pamphlets were covered in cobwebs. Finally, though of course not something the site or owner can resolve, the local pub appears to have closed down, so the nearest pub/resturant is about a mile away.
