Superb Value for money

We stayed here for 4 nights. We virtually had the place to ourselves which was surprising because it is a superb CL. There is a large summer house that has a very clean toilet, washbasin and shower all in the same room. In another room is a reading area with cane furniture. The pitches are all level and well spaced out. There is some train noise from the rail line nearby but it did not disturb us at night. We hardly saw the owners at all but when I did meet up with him he was very pleasant and convivial. Access to the site is a lot easier from the A11 ( come off at Spooners Row) rather than coming across country as the Sat Nav would direct you.

Hidden gem, best CL we’ve visited

Just home after a three night stay. Managed to book last minute and so glad we did. Very well kept grass pitches with electric hook up. Incredibly peaceful, surrounded by countryside. Hosts were lovely, very welcoming. Great shower and toilet situated in a summerhouse, very clean. Good location for the coast. Wymondham is close by, great little market town. We will certainly be back, thank you.

A excellant CL.

We visited this CL and where made very welcome by the owners Mandy and Phillip. The site is flat and wel maintained. It has a separate toilet/shower unit which was very clean. Access to the water supply was very easy, and the waste disposal area also v/clean. The surrounding countryside was nice with easy access into the Norwich park & ride. When we visited this CL it was full, but each caravan unit had plenty of space. When we visited, there was a two-day airshow on at The Old Buckenham airfield which was an added attraction. We have visited many CL`s in Norfolk over the years but we must say that this CL is one of the very best. Thank you Mandy and Phillip.

Great CL site such a lovely place

Last minute booking & Phil & Mandy were able to accommodate us with just a few hours notice. The welcome we received was great Mandy explained where everything was & the best place to pitch for the sun. Phil popped by in the evening to tell us about the owls & the best time to see them in the meadow opposite where we were pitched up. We weren’t disappointed 8pm & in swooped the owl catching his dinner. Then returned a few more times. The toilet & Shower was a nice extra which was very clean with lots of extras. Elsan point was also very clean & at a great level to help with emptying. Overall 5 out of 5 stars to Phil & Mandy We will definitely be back for a longer stay. Oh & we loved the trains going past including the horns going off. Jeff & Debbie x

Wonderful site, Wonderful owners.

Down a beautiful track lies the beautiful home of Phil and his partner Mandy, they have a charming, peaceful site with everything you need. They want you to have a lovely experience and make you feel so welcome. We love trying new CL sites so never visit a place twice but that will not be the case here, I already want to go back! :) Thank you

Welcoming stay

Lovely site, with roomy level pitches. Site quiet and secluded down a narrow lane. Shed with clean shower and toilet. Phil and Mandy very friendly and on hand if you need information or help. Good pub in the village.

Gem of a CL

We stayed here prior to our visit to the Norfolk show, and we are so glad we did. What a brilliant site, the grounds are really beautiful and very well kept. The chalet!! well you have to see it to believe it......absolutely superb. We had a very warm welcome, and were gifted with some lovely fresh eggs from the owners hens. We really enjoyed our visit, and if we had known just how nice it is, we would have booked for longer. There is always next year!!.

Nice eggs

A lovely little site situated down a single track road which actually wasn’t an issue as there are only two premises on the lane. We never met another vehicle. Generous size pitches with a lovely shower/toilet room within a chalet type building that also has seating, a small cooker and local info. Nearby Wymondham is an interesting place to visit as is nearby Norwich which is accessible by vehicle, or, as we did, train from Wymondham. Oh, and the eggs, lovely fresh eggs from Philip were gratefully received! The Boars, the nearby pub, was excellent but if you go on a Tuesday think about booking a table as it gets very busy as it is £10 for a main course! Will stay again if we go up this way in the future

Has everything...

We stayed at Stubbs Hill for 4 nights at the beginning of June. We were warmly welcomed by Phillip and later by his wife and we were given some freshly layed eggs from their chickens (which were delicious). The site is really lovely; it has a pond with loads of smallish fish in (not for fishing), the grass is beautifully kept, the bathroom facilities are excellent (like a home from home), the information room is brilliant with all you would need and more. There has been so much thought put into everything. There are good cycle routes around and plenty of great walks. We cycled to Norwich which was roughly a 30 mile round trip but most of it was on cycle lanes. We didn't try the local pub (so will need to go back for another stay....). The only slight negative is the width of the lane going to the site but there is no real traffic with only the site and house and one other dwelling along it so it really is not a problem. If you are thinking of visiting this site then don't hesitate, it's a gem.
