A little gem

Just spent a bank holiday weekend at this site and whilst initially sceptical, it turned out to be a really great stay. Owner is super nice, pitches ( many more than 5) were very well kept and I'd choose grass over hardstanding as they're set in good surroundings. There are some seasonal pitches and the 'residents' were super nice, friendly and helpful. Cycling was really good and a visit to Thrybergh Country Pak resevoir (with cafe) and a visit to Conisbrough Castle was enjoyable. Good walks from the site, great for our dogs. Will plan to revisit.

Not quite a CL

Apart from the hot showers and warm toilet blocks, I don't have much more to write about this CL. Although greeted by a polite member of staff, we were put onto a small piece of grass in-between two stored caravans. There was over 15 units on the site (not 5 and under as it suggests) as well as prefabricated homes as well. The toilets were dirty as they had no cleaner on site and broken toilet seats. In the female toilets was a notice saying that if you don't clean up after yourself, we will close the toilet block. We only stayed the one night.

Late night arrival

We arrived late for an overnight stay and couldn’t be made more welcome. The site is very secure with height barriers closed at night. The whole site is very clean and well maintained. The toilets and showers though basic are warm, clean and super hot water! We couldn’t fault this site, thank you Peter and staff.

They couldn't have been more helpful!!

I stayed here for 4 nights as I was working in Doncaster. I am a single female with a lot of experience towing. They could not have done more to help me. Peter gave me step by step directions to get there. Once i was there he had two of his colleagues to come and help me get set up. They gave me a personal tour around the site, toilets and showers. They ensured that the gates were open every morning for me as I was leaving early. The toilets and showers were lovely and warm, sparkling clean! The site was close to the A1 but the sunrises made-up for it! I never noticed the noise and was more than comfy for my time there. I would highly recommend staying and will be staying here again!
