Excellent City Site

Fabulous base to explore all Edinburgh has to offer, including the Fringe.  The site is well kept and the showers are the best we have experienced.  There are several rubbish bins, so you never have to walk far to get rid of your rubbish.  The local information provided on check in is brilliant and sets you up for your stay.

cycle haven

Stayed here on the last weekend of tthe Edinburgh festival had a really good time the site is only 2 miles away from the centre there is a shuttle bus that runs every half an hour from the site, it is great for keen cyclists you can even cycle across to the island of Cramond only if the tide is out of course, there is a lovely pub within walking distance called the Cramond inn really old and quaint the only down side to the ccaravan site at no fault of there own they are under tthe flight landing path which turned my wife Into a plane spotting geek.

Really good walks

Stayed at the site during the festival. My wife went to watch our Daughter performing at the festival leaving me and our little dog to explore. Having taken the VERY short walk to the promenade we "hung a left" and walked for miles right along the stunning river Almond walk. Has to be done, and just behind the toilets before (or after) and not signed at all is a really lovely pub

Hmmm. not for me

Great site in the wrong place, busy minor road runs alongside, however that noise is drummed out by the constant aircraft landing from dawn and beyond dusk. I didn't realise that it was directly under the landing flight zone until we arrived. So my mistake. However if you live next door to Heathrow you'll love it.

Festival Visit

We called last minute to book a site for 18/19th Aug and still managed a plot. Excellent staff, beautifully laid out site with large plots. Facilities were warm and clean with excellent showers (always a great starting point). Pathway to the bus is excellent, but a bit scary when we had a late return. Perhaps a gate at the corner of the site would make it easier. We will certainly use this site for future Edinburgh visits.

Excellent site

This is an excellent site, one of the best club sites we have visited. It is very clean and you get a good impression as soon as you arrive with the appearance of the reception area and its floral display. One improvement would be the installation of a gate on the south east corner of the site leading to the pathway to the bus stop which would reduce the walking distance to the buses for Edinburgh. Highly recommended site.

August stay.

Excellent wardens on site from booking to departure should be congratulated on being some of the best, well done indeed.
