Good for families

Good but could be better (easily)

The location is excellent, the staff are friendly and we'll go again, We had previously stayed as a senior couple, but his time took our two grandsons in a campervan. We have just bought small storage tent to help with managing the equipment and were disappointed to hear that "planning conditions" didn't permit us to use it. There were many campervans with "drive-away" awnings, but presumably they had to dismantle them if they wanted to "drive away" as we didn't see any left disconnected from the campervans. - most strange! These are the approximate points I made on the Love2stay survey when offered the chance to answer "Is there anything specific we could improve upon to enhance future guests' experiences?" 1. The cost of extras e.g. football skills are expensive considering the pitch fees are very expensive. 2. At a CAMC (or affiliated as this is) site you would expect the dish-washing sinks to have plugs, but there were none. The one sink with the window view only provided lukewarm water. 3. The smell coming from the sewerage installation halfway down the hill was upsetting. I complained to the reception staff who apologised and explained it was due to it being emptied - really? 4. The access to the beach area through the cold water pool area is confusing and then there's a different quicker way out? 5. Insufficient cushions available for the uncomfortable rattan seating near the beach area. (perhaps double the amount required) 6. One-way road system at the top of the site, is not observed but some campers, children on there bikes and the bin lorry (ok I suppose due to the size of it) so assume there may be something coming the wrong way. 7. The bin store needed to be emptied more often and the signage of what goes where was poor
