A busy site that is well organised. The team are good and pleasant. The toilet and washing facilities, although clean, are antiquated and in need of an upgrade. Good position of site near The Abbey.
July stay
A warm and helpful welcome was received even though we arrived slightly late. A very good atmosphere with plenty of space round each pitch. Immaculately clean facilities at all times. Excellent location with less than a 5 min walk into town which was picturesque and contained a variety of restaurants to suit all tastes and pockets. Would highly recommend this site and staff and will definitely return to explore more.

Want to wash
Lovely location-right in the centre of Tewkesbury. Would like to see some hard standings as motorhomes do not like wet grass. The washing facilities need improvement. There appear to be only 7 showers for the whole site - too few for a big site!
Lovely location
Stayed for one night on the way home to Cornwall. Site green and peaceful and on the doorstep of the lovely town. Abbey overlooks site shops & pubs great will visit again
Overnight stop over
We had traveled up from Devon and stopped over at Gloucester services it was a lovely day and so decided to look for somewhere to stay over night and found Tewkesbury Abbey what lovely site so pretty with all the flowers round reception, the staff were very helpful and friendly told us to look round the site and chose our pitch. The toilet were a little dated but very clean and plenty of hot water,we liked it so much that we decided to stay an extra night and again the staff were very helpful. We visited the Abbey while we were there and it is fascinating well worth a visit.

Friendly Greeting at Tewkesbury
Our first stay at this site was lovely. The Reception looked beautiful adorned with summer planting. The greeting upon arrival was friendly and informative, suggesting that if we wanted to pitch up for just one night we would be able to move next to our relatives pitch the following morning, which we did to enjoy our 4 day stay.
All of the usual facilities are available, if a little dated compared to some other sites, but still fully functional and exceptionally clean.
Tewkesbury itself is a very short walk away, so no need to take the car. Lots of shops, supermarket, green grocers, butcher, bakery, etc. There is also a great selection of restaurants and pubs to chose from too. All in all a great place to stay. There is a park next door for families with children and visitor parking available is the pay and display adjacent to the entrance of the site.
New caravanner from west midlands.
Visited this site after reading the good reviews, and I must say they were spot on!
Lovely, site,toilets,cleanliness and staff attitude.
Great pitch layouts....what more can I say except that there is a lovely Italian restaurant just outside the Abbey Main gates.....try it!

Tewkesbury Hidden Gem
What a fantastic location for a site. The site was very easy to find only minuets off the M5 , staff were very welcoming and there was an abundance of facilities. Although a grassy site we found a good level pitch for our 5 day stay. The site is within the boundaries of the Abbey which is a must see and only a short walk from the market town of Tewkesbury where you can find everything you need. All in all we were very pleased and will certainly visit again in the future.
Stunning view
We loved this site, very hard to believe I was washing dishes with the Abby right behind me, beautiful by day, stunning when delicately lit at night. Very friendly people in the Abby, very welcoming. The Abby clock strikes through the night so I believe but it didn't disturb our sleep. Site very clean and wardens very friendly. Lovely to have a park so close by for the children.
Tewkesbury Revisited
It is almost 27 years since we first visited Tewkesbury Caravan Club Site and I am pleased to say we were not disappointed. We used the site as a stop over on our way home from Devon, however, we were so impressed we are planning a return visit next year with a much longer stay. It is so handy for the town and all its amenities and the main road networks are not far away. The site is lovingly kept. It is clean and welcoming and the floral display as you arrive is stunning. There is a lovely large field for dog walkers just outside the gate so our four legged friends are well catered for too!
