the negative comments are very unfair. This is a typical racecourse site, the racecourse won't spend money and the club manages it. One of the flattest fields I've stayed on, so close to the town (which doesn't really have a lot but that is not the fault of the club) and two supermarkets next door. Does it really matter if the toilet cubicles are made of painted plywood instead of plastic coated wallboard. They were spotless which in my mind is all that matters. The grass is kept really short, drainage is excellent, no muddy areas after a night of terrential rain and friendly helpful wardens/site managers. So well placed for journeys north or south and only £14 per night, cheaper than some CL's these days.
