A good base for visiting Florence and surrounding Tuscany. Good facilities and a wide selection of restaurants and pools. The Ice Cream bars were a favourite as so moorish and great selection of flavours.
The entertainment was somewhat amateurish, but this did not really affect our one week stay as there was plenty to do on site.
Was surprised at how small the pitches were as we booked a larger pitch but it was not much larger than the others.
Overall a great site none the less.
2 Weeks
After spending a week here last year, we returned for 2 weeks this year. It's perfectly placed for visiting Florence, Pisa etc. Although full, all falls quiet by 10.30pm. The pools are perfect for families, although ball games were suddenly stopped in the main pool with no explanation after being allowed. The restaurant is great as are the takeaway pizzas and the ice-cream bar. There are trips available and although pricey the one for Rome provides a well priced and convenient transport. There is a taxi (to pay for) to take you to the Railway Station 2 miles away - don't bother with this though as there is a large free car park around the back of the Station - there's a direct train to Florence. There is a shop on site and although not too dear, there's a great supermarket 2 miles away in Figline that's also open on Sundays. Lots to do on site and loads of places to visit - we will be back.
Fun all the way
This is a larger camp than we would usually use but it was highly recommended by a friend. It did not disappoint. We had two tours from the site and both were excellent. There was always someone on site to explain anything and every need was catered for.

mixed feelings about this site
Initial impressions were good with the welcome and booking in. But our site was just below the zip wire playground, which was still being used at 11.30pm and we had to contend with a family playing football on the driveway which meant several ball visits whilst trying to eat our meal. Seems to be no rules in that respect. We had no shade at all on our pitch, the showers were plentiful but all cold except for 2 cubicles which people queued for. We went out for the day on our second night and on our return there was someone else on our pitch. The reception at first said we had only booked 2 nights, but quickly realised it was their mistake and decided to reallocate us. I mentioned all the problems about noise, shade, showers etc. We were then allocated a pitch in the quiet zone which was a whole different ball game.... Good showers, nice shade, a bit of peace and quiet. So if that's what you want ask for the quiet zone on arrival!! Other than that the site is a good base for exploring, and has great facilities for kids, the ice cream shop is pretty good too! Supermarkets are a bit expensive as you might expect on a camp site.
