June visit

Well presented site but some of the pitches with one entrance to 4 pitches. Be careful if you take one of the back ones as you can find yourself blocked in either by another caravan (depending which way it is placed) or trees! Lovely area but no beach. No atmosphere in the bar or eating area, food choice is limited. Staff curious and helpful.

Peaceful out of season

Stayed early June 2016 - 4 nights Very well situated site just 200 metres from the coast with a walking path to and around the impressive bay - the Gulf of Morbihan. Very helpful and welcoming reception staff and owner, and spotless sanitary facilities. Large outdoor and indoor pools with water slides, and a couple of kids play areas, but in early June there were no kids to be seen. The site has a mix of larger and average size pitches all with hedges and trees for shade.  A few of the smaller ones are definitely easier to access with a mover - it's probably worth reviewing the site plan online. Some of the pitches are in groups of 4 with a single entrance so the corner ones require you to reverse in! Ok if you are a motor home. A challenge of your reversing skills with a van without a mover! We had booked a large pitch - with services, and we were given a choice and the chance to walk round first. Pleasant modern bar area with a few snacks available (low season), although little atmosphere and an undercover kids playroom right next to it. Overall a good site, perfectly peaceful in June in an accessible location, only a few miles off the main road. The final 400 metres approach road is a touch narrow but with little traffic, so no problem.

July 15

We had a 'Special pitch' which had electricity a tap and a shared drain in the hedgerow. The pitches are small and a bit tight to manoeuvre your outfit if you don't have a mover, luckily we did! The roads leading down to the site are narrow so take things easy when travelling with your caravan or motor home. Reception were friendly and booking in efficient. Wifi was poor to say the least. The pool area has flumes and seemed to be busy with kids enjoying themselves so a definite plus for families. The play area looked good too. Toilet blocks could have been better, cleanliness left a bit to be desired.... The area has some fantastic places to visit close at hand, Vannes old town / Carnac / Quiberon / Auray / Rochefort en Terre to name a few but our particular favourite was La Roche Bernard and it's worth leaving your visit until Thursday where there is a fantastic market. In short, a great area but we would probably not return to this site.

Beautiful location

Stunning area beside the beautiful Bay of Morbihan. Visited for 7 nights in July 2015 during its busy time. It was a second visit for us, we had spent four nights in June 2014, a much quieter time. Lots of French families and Dutch visitors. Adequate sized pitches. Lovely pools. Accessible to Carnac, Auray & sea cruises. Very poor wifi, best to visit local supermarket where the wifi is excellent and free.

We will return

This was our first time at this site but not in France, we have travelled there many times. We had a huge pitch and opposite my sister's plot as we asked for before we arrived. The pool was lovely and warm (6 nights there in early June) with plenty of sunbeds. Cannot fault the sanitaires, plenty of hot water and so clean. Reception and baguette man all speak English and are very helpful. You must go on the coast walk, its beautiful although not sandy. Go to Arradon point, lovely beach there and reasonable restaurant, parking free! Easy to find, we will be going back.

First visit

Reception very friendly and helpful.  Access road bit narrow, and pitches small and tight but overall the site is very well kept and gardens maintained.  Swimming pool are is very good and very clean.  Limited shop on site.  Gentle walk from site down and around the edge of the sea, only small beach.  Arradon is a lovely little village with a good grocery shop.
