Tarbert Certificated Locations

Tarbert is a very attractive village on the east coast of the Mull of Kintyre peninsula in Argyll, by the shores of Loch Fyne. Located on the A83, it makes a fine base for exploring the peninsula's scenery, but also for enjoying the local rugged coastline.

Notable features include the 14th century Royal castle of Tarbert, once a haunt of Robert the Bruce, although only the keep remains of the original structure.

Tarbert is very popular as a yachting destination and as a fishing village. It has a classical multicoloured harbour frontage and its seafood is highly renowned and the subject of an annual festival each May.
