Why stay here ...

Rheld Farm CL is nestled in the Usk Valley, within walking distance of Crickhowell and its Award Winning 'Great British High Street' full of independent retailers, cafes, pubs and restaurants. Set between the lower slopes of Table Mountain and the River Usk, it is arguably the most beautiful valley in the Brecon Beacons National Park. Our CL site is conveniently adjacent to the A40, which leads up to the local town, alternatively there is a beautiful walk along the River Usk. The larger market town of Abergavenny is just 5 miles away with several supermarkets, and a wide selection of shops, cafes, bars and restaurants.

During your stay at Rheld Farm you will experience the sights and sounds of an Organic Dairy Farm and will be able to meet our friendly cows, all unique characters and known by the family individually. Unfortunately we are unable to accept dogs as we are a working farm with a dog of our own, who gets a little upset by 4-legged visitors, although is quite friendly to human visitors.

Rheld Farm CL
An ideal spot for either relaxing or exploring. A very warm welcome on arrival by Kelly and Richard. Plenty of space with each pitch having EHU, water and lovely views. I would highly recommend a stay here.

A bit of a gem

Rheld Farm CL
Booked for 2 nights. Directions were emailed and easy to follow. Met by Richard and Kelly, very friendly welcome. All pitches are grass with electric and water to all 5. Information board of local eateries and places of interest. There is some road noise during daytime but quietens at night. Beautiful scenery all around. This is a working dairy farm. No pets allowed. Crickhowell town is less than a mile away, walk either along road (pavement all the way) or walk along river. Plenty of eateries to choose from. There are no toilets or showers on site so you need to be self sufficient. Recycling is evident.

A lovely site.

Rheld Farm CL
A lovely, well maintained CL with lots of space, tidy, level and great views. The owners are very welcoming and friendly. An information board provides interesting reading. The River Usk is accessible and provides a lovely walk into the town of Crickhowell where there are numerous cafes. We walked from the site onto the Sugar Loaf and the following day onto the Llangattock escarpment. Highly recommended.

Fantastic CL in a wonderful location

Rheld Farm CL
We only stopped for one night at this CL but will return. Ideally located to explore the lovely town of Crickhowell (which is a five minute stroll away). The site itself is in a paddock squeezed between fields of grazing organic milk cows - a CL at its best. Richard and Kelly are really friendly and helpful too. A site we'll definitely return to - to enable us to walk in the Beacons.
