A perfect place to stay

We rolled into this lovely CL on a hill and our name was on the board with the pitch number we were to use. This small thing makes life so simple, we could pitch up and have the kettle on straight away. The owner came over to see us as soon as we had settled in and was helpful and friendly. We asked about local taxis but he insisted if we needed a lift we should ring him. Of course, we didn't like to do that and so walked the 30 - 40 minutes there and back to Castlerock on the quiet lanes. Castlerock is a pretty little town with a fantastic beach and a few cafes. We caught the train to Derry from here, a lovely train ride. The views from the site are big and the peace and quiet is perfect. We also walked in the woodland and to Downhill Bay.
