Just spent 8 nights on this beautiful site tucked away in the middle of the island making it a perfect base from which to explore this lovely part of Wales. The instructions in the CAMC handbook look complicated at first but are exactly what you need. Arm yourself with the OS map and you need have no fear travelling around the country lanes. The welcome we received from Diana and her extended family was wonderful and everyone on the site seemed very friendly. The grass is well maintained and Diana advised on the best places to set up (where the sun is, soft spots etc). The shower and toilet room is a bit basic but perfectly adequate and the FREE shower was lovely and hot. Mustn't forget 'Pabo and Cubby' Diana's two labradors who enjoyed making their rounds of the caravanners each day for a bit of fuss. The icing on the cake for us was the beautiful weather we experienced after the previous 2 weeks of rain while travelling through Shropshire............although we don't suppose that even Diana can guarantee wall to wall sunshine!
