What a beauty!!!

We stopped here for a week in June and can only commend Michael and Susan on a beautiful kept site. Please use the C C Book for directions and NOT Sat Nav. There is a reason I have given 5 stars for all the section apart from the overall score of 4 stars is because of the use of the land area. If you want electric you are down at one end of the 3 acre site which seems such a shame. You are not crammed in but because you have such a large area you overlook you do feel the vans are close together. I would also recommend that with the excellent quality of this site, a water tap and drain to each pitch would add value. The nearest pub is the Goat Inn and is just over a mile away and they serve excellent meals at reasonable prices. The site is also handy for the coast (Cromer, Sherringham) and the Broads. We had a lovely stay and thank you to Michael and Susan

A gem of a CL

We have just spent 11 nights on this beautiful site. It is extremely spacious with plenty of options to pitch & is very quiet & peaceful. We saw deer, a fox, hares & pheasants wandering around. The owners Susan & Michael are very welcoming & friendly. The site is on well maintained grass & when cut it is picked up. There are some nice views across the fields & a very good dog walk through the woods. All the facilities are well maintained & clean with a bottle of sanitizer available, although the toilet was closed. Malcolm is always busy looking after things & in fact we have never seen such a tidy farmer. If in the area again would most definitely stay here as it is convenient for the broads & coast to visit.

Fantastic CL

What a beautiful CL.....This has got to be one of the best! Michael and Susan are very welcoming and obviously take great pride in their site. As CL owners ourselves we know how much hard work goes into keeping it in such good order. It is very spacious with immaculately kept grass and hedging. Waste and water points all clean with sanitizer provided. The wooded area for dog walking is a lovely bonus too. We just stayed for 2 nights but wished it could've been for longer, it is in such a peaceful rural location but the coast is only about half an hour away so best of both worlds. Thank you Michael and Susan for a lovely stay, we will be back....just so Michael and Trevor can chat for longer about tractors and shepherds huts! :) Trevor and Gill

Cracking CL

This is an amazing CL. A huge, immaculate flat field with great views and plenty of space. We stayed just after the Covid pandemic lockdown so the facilities were closed. There was hand sanitizer and anti bacterial spray supplied at the water tap and waste point. Thank you Michael and Susan.

The best CL

We stayed here recently to attend a wedding in Coltishall. I agree with everything previous reviewers have said!! Probably the best CL we have ever stayed on. We had one issue which was NOT the responsibility of the owners but everything to do with what seems to be a British mentality. We parked on the lower field up at the top of the rise and parallel to the hedge, well away from the other 3 vans on the site, all of which had maintained large spacings. When we returned from a food shop a caravan had parked exactly level with us on the upper field and on the other side of the hedge, I guess we were no more than 10 feet apart. This was bad enough but the lady then spent the rest of the day and well into the evening talking at a level that must have been heard in the village!!! I suspect these are the same sort of people who arrive at a particularly empty beach and then proceed to settle down so close you could reach out and touch them!! It won't stop us returning but I shall make sure I don't park up near the hedge!!!

"A stunningly peaceful, welcoming, gem of a site"

My wife and I have just spent a whole week at this delightful site and the weather has been just amazing. If you like large pitches with wonderful views of fields and trees then this is for you. We were also treated to Deer, Fox, Squirrels, Bats, Woodpecker, Hare, Rabbits, Owls and too may other birds to mention. Situated in a central position access to places of interest is easy along beautiful country lanes. Easy to find and when we arrived we were greeted by owners Michael and Susan who were most pleasant and welcoming and most accommodating. They work the small farm and there is the VERY occasional tractor moving about but do not be put off by this in any way as they drive out of their way to keep the noise of the tractor to a minimum. The entrance lane opens up to a double level grassed field with electric hook ups and the pitches are "huge". There is fresh water, waste area, rubbish disposal area and well maintained toilets, the whole area is clean and tidy. Michael the owner said if you want to see a good sunset walk down the very little hill into his other field then walk to the the top of that field and stand by the gate; we did this after one lovely sunny day and firstly the view at the top of the field is wonderful and we were then treated to the most beautiful of sunsets. I have no negatives about this place, however we did venture one night to the Goat Inn just down the road and we were most disappointed with the food, not good at all, service and staff were fine but will not be returning there. We have stayed on many sites in our time and we both have to say this has to be one of the best, as in the title it is an absolute "gem".

Great Site

Just returned from a weekend away at Brick Kiln Bungalow. A great site with fantastic facilities. Met on arrival by the owner and apart from popping to the house to pay on Sunday morning was not bothered by them again which is how we like it.  Toilet facilities are excellent, good recycling point and WC emptying point.   The site is level with 2 large grass fields with EHU easily located for each pitch.  Pitches are marked and spread out well so you are not overlooked or close to anyone. Close to the N Norfolk coast for sea visits and a lot of NT properties/sites in the area to visit.  Walked to the Goat Inn on Saturday for some food, an easy 20 minute stroll, found it very average, nothing wrong but would not rush back.

Will definitely visit this site again when we want to go to this area.
