Wished we could have stayed longer!

What a find!, the footpath to the copper mine is at the side of the site and couldn't be easier and is well worth a visit, awesome! The hosts are very friendly and helpful. I had a flat battery on the motorhome as we went to leave, no kidding within 5 minutes Derek had the jump leads out and a spare battery by the side of the van and jump started it straight away. The site itself is beautifully laid out and the grass is nice and short - and no dreaded cuttings left behind ( one of my pet hates). Christine showed us where they're hoping to install a shower block and toilets next year. Once they do that, they'll not be short of bookings I'm sure. Definitely one we'll revisit when down that way.

Lovely CL site

A beautiful quiet CL site with wonderful walks direct from the site onto Parys Mountain. The heather and gorse around the site was in full flower and stunning. The owners - Derek and Christine - were super helpful and friendly. Definite thumbs up - immaculate site and well looked after. Easy access to the coast and wider Anglesey. We hope to be back soon.

Brilliand in every respect

Lovely site, a gentle walk to the surreal and historical Parys Mountain copper mine , views of Eryri and Puffin Island. Not far from Amlwch with its port and the stunning Anglesey coast path. Excellent clear directions. The owners, Christine and Derek, could not be more helpful and welcoming. Well worth a visit!

Doesn't come any better than this

We have just returned, from spending five nights at Bryn Parys. The site is first class, the view first class, a vast copper mine right on the doorstep. Services are all very good and easy to access. No electric, but if you have batteries and solar no problem. Set up where you want. This is one one of those cl's that just can not get any better. The hosts Derek and Christine are fantastic, greet you when you arrive, tell you where everything is, and just let get on with it. Fantastic couple. I have a list of all the cl's we have visited and I have to say Derek and Chris are in the top 3. Just go you wont be disappointed. We will be back. Thanks

Seriously Undersold!

Couldn't believe the whole set up when we arrived - views for miles across Anglesey and a footpath straight onto Pary's Mountain, a fascinating copper mine which started operations about 250 years ago. Very quiet with good facilities for disposal and water supply etc. Lovely helpful hosts. No electric but who needs it? (We have batteries & solar) Park and set up anywhere, we didn't need levelling chocks are there are flat areas. Highly recommended.

Fantastic hosts!!!

Stayed in this site after few dry days so grass pitches were lovely and dry, the grass is well kept (nice and short) and you can tell it is regularly cut. No facilities as such (ehu, toilets etc) and you will need chocks, but hosts make this site, welcoming you on arrival, and giving you tips about the local area! It was Derek (the hosts) birthday while we were there and we got an invite to join their friends and family for a buffet. (We declined after a tiring day exploring Anglesey but lovely to be asked)and they even bought us a slices of cake down! The site is in a lovely location for exploring the island and is right next to a copper mine which is a really interesting area with lots of history and a good walk round. We will definitely return!

Stay longer

Great views Short grass Easy access with outfit only 200m of narrow road Excellent mobile signal Good water pressure Stayed 4 weeks in May 2023 and will go again. Lovely welcome and friendly people. Easy disposal of waste. If you have a caravan over 7m go slow in driveway or you’ll bottom out over the hill.

Great Off Grid CL

I can completely agree with all the previous reviewers who have given this CL full marks on every item. We stayed at the end of September and were able to pitch our twin axle Conqueror in a great position with sea views to the southeast where we could see Puffin Island and Llandudno. As said previously, access to the site with reasonable care is fine, and there are no issues. The water services are excellent and the CL owners Chris and Derek are really friendly and accommodating. We certainly look forward to returning.

Great Off Grid Site

Stayed here for 2 nights in September with a large twin axle caravan. Access up the small drive is a little tight bit no great issues. Site has great views and easy access via footpath to Parys Mountain, pitches are a little uneven due to the nature of the area so levelling blocks are required. Easy access to drinking water, waste emptying and bins, whole site is kept immaculate Overall excellent value for £10.a night what more could you want?

Quiet and well maintained site

We phoned on the off chance on August BH weekend and were surprised to find a pitch at last minute. We were advised to let ourselves into the field and pitch up where we wanted, which suits us! The site is extremely well presented. The grass is cut short and no cut grass laying around. There are beautiful views around the site. There is more than enough space for 5 pitches. They are gently sloping but nothing that chocks won't deal with. There is easy access to drinking water and a new installation for black waste disposal which is clean and well maintained. There is a public footpath adjacent to the site which takes you to the nearby former Copper mine. Its well worth a visit. The site owners are welcoming, helpful and friendly and provide good advise on what to see on Anglesey. In summary a well maintained and clean site, that is absolutely ideal if you don't need EHU. We would highly recommend it.
