i spent 4 nights here at Easter following some days of rain. i mistook the field to camp on and got stuck in the mud. the guys in the the golf club were absolutely brilliant in rescuing me. not only did they get me out they pitched my caravan and made sure my electric was working before leaving me. the next day i was made to feel very welcome and even the owner stopped in his car to ask if i was ok. i loved the peace and my dog (and me) loved the direct route through the Wyre forest to some stunning walks. i would definately go back. i was hoping to eat in restaurant one evening but there was no service and the only other thing to note is that there is nothing for children to do.
