The site is well kept. There was see views, however not accessible from our caravan. The chemical toilet area had no tap directly over the sluice, so cleaning chemical toilet was awkward.
We had a smell coming from the vent pipe directly behind the sluice.
We were asked to pay £20 deposit for our 4 night stay, which we sent by cheque ( not £10 as recorded on the website). The owner arrived to great us and explained that we had to pay an extra £10 per night for our daughter and two grandchildren. We ended up paying £25 per night. This is extortionate. If we had known we could have booked a serviced site with showers and toilet facilities for this amount.
During our stay we were kept awake every night by people partying in the large residential house throughout the night and early hours. The owner told us to go round and complain to them if we didnt like it. This my husband did at 5.30 am. The well spoken young adults (possibly of Oxford/Cambridge stock) were very sympathetic, and apologetic, however they continued to party next night. We would never go back to this site. We have experienced numerous sites that are better than this throughout our years of caravaning.
