We stayed with friends on this new Cl for 5 nights in mid September and can highly recommend it. The owners Laurie and Andrea were very welcoming and let us choose where we set up … there is a choice of hard standing and grass pitches so good for caravans, campers and motor homes. The site is well situated for visiting York and surrounding villages as there are bus stops on the road running past the gate. We made good use of our free bus passes!! There is some road noise but I can honestly say it didn’t bother us and was more than compensated for by the proximity of the public transport. We will definitely use the site again .. it would be a great base for Christmas markets and shopping in York. Laurie and Andrea also have Airbnb properties adjacent to the site so great for non caravanning families to stay together. Thanks for a great stay …we will be back!
