Lovely site.

We spent four nights here last week. It's a really lovely site, very tidy and a well appointed utility area and Heather and Rob are lovely hosts. The dog walk and off lead run are a real bonus, especially first thing in the morning and last thing at night. We went to Marshalls Yard at Gainsborough which was nice, all the regular high street shops were there set around a square with cafes etc. We also had two visits to Twigmoor Wood which is not far away and is really lovely and cool under the trees. (It was very hot last week). We also went to Scotter Common. It's a very open site with lovely views and lovely sunsets. This was our second visit to Highfield House and we will definitely be back.

Lovely place to be .

We have never been to Highfeildhouse before but found the place very easily to find .The views are stunning as well the sunsets the site is flat and drains very well .Our two dogs loved the run that’s just been built worth going just for that.We were very lucky we had the whole site to our self’s for the seven days. The ehu is 16amp also an info shed with games to play also books and mags for your use .The only down side is a bit of noise from the road but that did not bother us . The hosts are lovely people and we will be using this site as much as we can in the future.

Welcoming

Just returned from 8 nights at this site (our first time here).16th - 24th July 2019 We were welcomed by Heather on our arrival and after showing us where everything was she gave a information leaflet that she had produced.. The leaflet was very useful. Both her and Rob also gave us more information as to good coffee shops and other places to visit not on her information sheets.. Great views with open farm land just in front of the pitch. Scotter is a short walk along the road. The site is very flat and well drained..The pitches are clearly marked . We had very hot weather with an horrendous thunder storm and rain at 3am one morning which by the time we arose the ground was dry. One downside is there is some noise from the road. All facilities are easy to use. Both Rob and Heather were not only welcoming but very informative and nothing was too much bother. Barring for one night we had the site to ourselves for our stay. Would definitely recommend this site and we would certainly visit again.

Very pleasant stay

Stayed here for four nights 4-7th June and had the site to ourselves. Excellent comms from Heather before our arrival and both her and Rob very welcoming when we did arrive. Very useful information leaflet too. Fabulous views towards the North and East and was able to walk into Scotter with the dogs. Road can be busy at times and motorbikes seem to like hoofing it . Easy to use facilities for water and waste disposal . Highly recommended

Lovely weekend stay

We have just spent 2 nights at this CL which has only been open a few weeks. The owners are Robert and Heather and are very welcoming. The site is flat and although is all grass it is very dry and firm under foot and a bonus not to need to level side to side. There are country side views and it’s walkable to the village where there are pubs shops and takeaways. The only slight downside is that you can hear the road however it’s not that busy. It’s definately one we will return to. Overall well worth a visit.

Overnight stay

Chose this new CL as it was just down the road from the caravan dealer where we were collecting our new caravan. Very easy to find, easy to drive in, nice level field. All pitches clearly marked with fantastic views across open fields. Lovely friendly owner who knows the area well. Would stay again.
