Fabulous site

Just returned from 5 nights at this lovely site. Perfect location for cycling to local places such as Rye, Tenterden and the coast. Pitches are large and well laid out with ever-changing views over the fishing lakes and beyond. Take your binoculars as lots of birds and wildlife to be seen. The individual toilet and shower per pitch are a luxurious addition and are spotless. Communication both prior to the stay and whilst on site was excellent. Thanks for a great holiday and we hope to return soon.

Loved it!!

I’ve just returned from a two night stay at Knightingales and I love it. Immaculately kept site and grounds, well maintained and spotlessly clean facilities. The private bathroom per pitch is a huge bonus. This place definitely stands out from the crowd. Very enjoyable and peaceful stay. Thanks Jim and Helen.

Excellent CL

This is our first stay on a CL and the bar has been set very high by Knightingales. We usually stay on Club Sites for use of 'shore facilities' but the provision of your own hotel-style washroom is a superb arrangement. As others have written, the location and view is stunning and it's very addictive just sitting and watching the world go by. Our plan was to have a relaxing time visiting National Trust properties and Sissinghurst, Scotney, Bodiam and Smallhythe are all within easy reach. It was a truly lovely break - and the weather was superb too. Thanks Helen - we look forward to returning soon.

Superb site

This is a truly beautiful site. It is peaceful, tranquil and a joy to be on. Watching the sun rise over the lake was definitely worth getting up for and quite a spectacle. Jim came and introduced himself to us and gave tips on a better route from the motorway. The grounds are impeccably kept, and the private shower rooms are amazing. We enjoyed our stay so much we have booked a return trip in a couple of weeks. Helen has been very helpful with our bookings which made the process very easy

Idyllic hidden gem

I really don’t want to write this review as I’m concerned I’d never get a booking! It is quite simply the most beautiful, tranquil location, with views that make you not want to pick up your book! The facilities are spotless, getting your own wet room, toilet etc that is for your pitch and your pitch only is fantastic. The owners- totally unintrusive. I feel like I’ve lifted a big stress weight off my shoulders spending time here- batteries totally recharged - great for the soul and can’t wait to return

Beautiful viewsall

All five pitches have excellent south facing views. These serviced pitches are hard standing and are slightly sloping. The toilet and shower facilities are very clean and warm. The only disappointment, and this is something I've encountered on other Cl's, was that the owners never came to meet and greet us. One other comment aside from the CL is that the signage on the approach road coming from Tenterden is obliterated, and the surrounding roads are dangerously full of pot holes!

Best CL

There's not more to say that's not already been said about this wonderful CL. Everything is just perfect, great views, peaceful, spacious, private shower rooms - which are kept absolutely spotless. Fishing on site. Lovely friendly owners. We have stayed twice in the last two months and can't wait to go again. A perfect site open all year.

Fantastic CL.

I have just spent two nights at this lovely CL. The pitches are all new hard standings and hedged, which I particularly like. There is a hook up point on each pitch, together with your own fresh water point, another bonus! The views across to the sea are to Die for, and you just find yourself sitting there for ages just gazing at the view. But the absolute gem is that you have your own dedicated wash room for each pitch. It is fantastically appointed, with a large shower compartment, a toilet and a hand basin, all spotlessly clean. I can’t wait to visit again.

Lovely CL Site

We stayed at this site for two nights such a lovely clean tidy site. You have your own toilet and showers to yourself for the whole of your stay they are absolutely spotless and kept clean throughout your stay. Great size hardstanding pitch that overlooks the lake and surrounding countryside all you can hear are the birds and the sheep nearby really restful and peaceful. You will need a car or bikes to get out and about the nearest pub is about a mile and a half. Next time we go we will take our bikes. You can fish in the lake you need to book this prior to arrival. We will definitely be back.

Fabulous Find

Immaculate five pitch site for members of the Caravan and Motorhome Club. It’s well worth the cost. Three pitches have their own individual bathroom in a block, with a large shower cubicle, toilet and handbasin. Pitches four and five are a large family pitch with a shared bathroom. The facilities are spotless. Nice large pitches with a hedge in between pitches for privacy. The owners are there if you need them, but they aren’t in your ‘face’. The site is in an ideal location to explore the surrounding area. There are a lot of NT, EH and HH properties in this area. We travelled down to Brighton, Canterbury and Dover. The site is very private and quiet. We stayed for two weeks and hope to return in the future.
