April Break

Great hardstanding site in the grounds of the Sibton White Horse. Still only £20 PN with electric. Very friendly staff and lovely high end meals in the Pub. Like others have said a very quiet site situated in a lovely area with plenty of walks and great for cycling. TV reception is poor but data on Vodaphone EE and O2 is fine. Places we visited included Flatford Mill, Southwold, Sutton Hoo and Framlingham. All great places to visit. The Poachers Pocket at Carlton also does lovely food and is well worth a visit.

New Year Break

We have just returned from a lovely 4 night break at this relaxing CL, which even Saturday night's high winds couldn't spoil! Access to the site from the A12 at Yoxford was easy and the site has well-maintained hardstanding pitches. Chemical waste, drinking water tap and waste bins (including recycling) are a short walk away, across the lawn towards the pub. The straight-forward addition of a short section of rigid pipe to the bottom of the water tap makes filling your aquaroll a simpler task than at most sites. Great hospitality from the owners & staff at the pub. We had booked a table for New Year's Eve & had a fantastic meal. Once back in the caravan, you would have no idea that you were behind a pub - even the car park is at the front of the pub, so you don't hear patrons leaving at the end of the evening. Very little traffic noise overnight. There are plenty of good footpaths in the area. We did two walks and saw some pretty villages, friendly pubs and wildlife including wild deer. Easy access to the National Cycle Network means we will probably return at a warmer time of year with our bikes. The lovely town of Southwold is a short drive away, as are Aldeburgh and Snape Maltings.

One of our favourite CLs

We have had many weeks at this CL over the last few years and will keep on returning . A lovely quiet site in a beautiful part of the country with lots to visit locally. The pub is friendly and has great food , a trip isn't complete without at least one of their meals!

Very peaceful stay in beautiful suffolk.

Enjoyed a lovely peaceful stay in this very pretty part of suffolk, where there’s loads to see and do. We only had 2 days which is not really enough to see all we wanted, but we got a taste of the area. The suffolk heritage coast is nearby as is rspb minsmere for nature lovers. We visited the pretty town of Halesworth with quality shops and plenty of cafes. I love the houses in the area with so much character. The site has hard standing and a lovely level pitch which is beautifully kept, it has a quiet relaxed feel We could choose our own pitch and Neil the owner showed me where the water etc was situated. I wondered if being near the pub would be noisy, but the site is set back across a lawn and there was absolutely no sound At all, except the birds. .There’s about 5 circular walks directly from the CL across stunning countryside. maps to these can be found on the pub website which is very useful as there’s so many walks it would be easy to get on the wrong path. I’ve marked this site in my notebook to definitely return to, there’s so much more to see Thanks Neil and team.

Best CL stayed on for ages

We have just had 3 nights at this site and have returned so refreshed. You do need your own facilities but you can use the pub toilets when it's open. The pitches are hard standing with ehu and despite all the rain the site seemed well drained. The food in the pub which the friendly site owners run is second to non and we would have no hesitation in recommending it to eat in, the staff too are so welcoming. There are some nice dog friendly walks from the site and Southwold, Walberswick and Dunwich Heath within easy driving distance. We had a clear night the first evening and to look up and see the stars so clearly was superb. We had owls serenading us and a very friendly Robin visited us daily and even overlooked us hooking up when we returned after our days out. Our only gripe would be the little pot hole on the entrance, you just need to remember to position your campervan correctly on exiting the site. Since getting our campervan we have made the rule to explore all sites and not return to any we have previously stayed at, but we would not hesitate to return to this lovely site.

Fabulous week

We had a great week at Sibton helped by some very good weather. The site is peaceful, not too formal ,plenty of space with the lovely pub at the front and fields on all other sides giving direct access to plenty of walks. The pub offers great food and beer and a warm welcome from the owners. There is easy assess to other parts of Suffolk with lots to do and see. I would not hesitate in recommending this lovely site

Great CL

After a hiccup regarding our booking to stay here everyone did everything they could to make sure we were comfortable and happy with our pitch. The site is level and well maintained. Electricity and water easily obtained. Plenty of wildlife around our pitch. The restaurant is so good that we ate there both nights we were here. There are plenty of nice walks and in the village of Peasonhall half a mile away is a lovely tearoom that is worth a visit. All in all we can't wait to visit again. A very big thank you to the owners.

Another lovely stay

This was our third visit to this site and we will be back .... Basic in facilities so you do need to be self sufficient but electric , water etc  easy to access. Plenty of local walking from site which is level with hard standing and is well sheltered . The site is made even better by a lovely pub onsite for  a drink or great meal with both landlord and locals friendly and welcoming . Once back in your van you would not know the pub was metres away as there is no noise or disturbance . Easy to access nearby coast and towns
