Well situated and excellent pub

Excellent spot for touring/sight seeing in the AONB area of Suffolk. Facilities very much basic so you need to be self sufficient. Excellent pub (not tried the meals) and seems to be well supported. Would visit again is the acid test

A great place to stay

A lovely , friendly  relaxed place to stay. We stayed in a very wet week in March but the hard standing was great and popping across the lawn to a lovely warm country pub with wood burner a treat. Great food ... not to be missed  Loads of dog walking , but a little muddy due to weather, will visit again in the summer Only slight drawback is that the water point is a little way from pitches and with the motorhome you can't drive up to use hose . Definitely wouldn't put us off using site repeatedly

Outstanding CL

Stayed here for a few days over New Years Eve.  Pretty much a perfect winter CL.  Pleasant views, hard standings welcome in the winter storms and a simply wonderful pub 30 m away.  New Years Eve itself was superb with a fantastic meal, great quality wine and a really friendly atmosphere where locals and visitors mixed together easily.  All helped by the calm, efficient and friendly landlord.  One of the very best CLs we have stayed in and particularly good for the winter months.

Lovely C.L. Site

BEST C.L. SITE we have stayed at this year. I would like to write a bad review for this site purely for selfish reasons so we can have the site for our self's, alas this is not to be. The host was very welcoming, the site is immaculate, and the food in the pub is to die for. WE WILL BE BACK  100% FIVE STARS 12/07/2015

pub stopover

Basic site, water & waste not really convienent for motorhomes, water is a trip across grass as is waste disposal. Having said that we had a meal in the pub, fairly costly, pleasent landlord & Landlady. Food was good as was the beer. Dogs allowed.

The White Horse

Campsite is very good, but the food at the pub is to die for. I will always eat there if in the area. 5 stars.
